Mar.-Apr.- I recently had an awesome opportunity to share a bit of my story with the senior illustration class at Massachusetts College of Art and Design as well as the editorial staff of the JJ Express children's magazine. For the seniors I spoke about what I've been up to since graduating from Mass Art three years ago, and for the magazine staff conference I shared some tips, tricks and techniques to making children's book art.
Feb.- My pumpkin carving design titled "Enchanted Lady" won second place in the faces category of the "2008 Pumpkin Masters Carving contest". You may have a chance to carve my design next halloween if they chose to print the design.
Feb- One of my recent illustrations has been submitted into the "Articulate" competition with Sky Seed Gallery
Jan- One of my Christmas Greeting card designs won third place in the Nativity Art Artwanted Art Competition
Nov- Dec. 08- You can view my entry for a cartoon contest at www.CreditCardReform.org . Voting Ended Dec.5th. I won first place in the popular vote and first place for the "Official Judges Vote". Thank you to all who voted for me and the other participants.
